- Storage
- Aliquot the lysate into single tube and then storing them -80C or below. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing cycles.
- Preparation before usage
- Heat lysate to 95C for 5 minutes and rapidly cooling before use.
- General Description
- Balb/3T3 cells are established from a BALB/c mouse embryo. Balb/3T3 cells are extremely sensitive to contact inhibition of cell division, grow at a high dilution, exhibit a low saturation density and are highly susceptible to transformation in tissue culture by the oncogenic DNA virus, SV40, and murine sarcoma virus.
